Clare Eguchi

 

 

Clare Eguchi graduated from Chelsea School of Art in 1979 before pursuing a successful career as an animation director in television advertising. She has recently returned to painting following a break to raise her three children.

In 2003/4 Clare had a solo exhibition at Blender Gallery in Banbury and took part in the prestigious Lewes Contemporary Arts Spring Show.

In 2005 she exhibited as part of the Oxfordshire Artweeks event, at the Michael Heseltine Gallery in Northamptonshire, and at the Straight Banana Gallery in Shipston-on-Stour. 

In 2006 Clare exhibited in a one woman show at the Mill Art Gallery in Banbury and as part of the Northamptonshire Open Studios.

In 2007 Clare returned to the Michael Heseltine Gallery and exhibited at the Blakesley Gallery.

In 2008 Clare took part in the Northamptonshire Open Studios event, and was commissioned by Wetherspoons to produce 3 paintings for the new Fleur-de-Lis pub in Banbury.  She now has a permanent exhibition space at the Forge 2 in Culworth, near Banbury.

2009 saw a number of exhibitions at the Forge2 gallery, and the launch of the Eguchi 2nd Home label for Clare's individual take on craft items, such as bangles and accessories.
